It was time for a lighting upgrade at the Code n Chips studio…
Previously, we were running 12 GU10 LED downlights, along with 4 x 17cm LED flat panel discs on a motion sensor. Now for a big shout out and huge thanks to Martin and the team at HexagonLighting.com, we have 30 super bright hexagon lights, filling the studio with over 3600 LM of light! A first for Code n Chips, the Volkswagen ID.3 launched in the UK on Friday 18th September 2020. By Monday 21st September 2020, this car had undergone the Ultimate Detailing Package here in Rugby. It was delivered direct from the VW showroom to our studio. Read more “VW ID.3 arrives…”

All BMW models manufactured after 2002 require battery registration, as they are significantly more advanced in terms of electrical environment, which aims to improve the fuel consumption. Models developed since 2002 are equipped with the system of Intelligent Battery Sensors (IBS) that contains micro processors monitoring and measuring charge, discharge, voltage, current and battery temperature. The term “Coding” describes the process of turning on and off functions within a car’s Electronic Control Unit (ECU).
Since the mid 1990’s, cars use computers to control functions. Turning your indicators on would set off a sequence of relays, which were located near your dashboard. These relays make a tick-tock sound in time with the lights turning on and off. Indicator sounds are now computer generated.
